What you will do

The successful Regional Sales Manager will be the person who wants to make the difference and can impact the company direction and engagement.  You will be responsible for the proactive identification, engagement, closure and strategic management of software and solution sales of our innovative eProcurement and Supply Chain solutions within our target markets. This will involve prospecting, qualifying, selling, and closing solution opportunities for both new and existing GEP customers. You will establish and manage executive relationships and maximize penetration of GEP products to this market, contributing significantly to our ambition to grow GEP as the emerging solution provider of choice in this market.

Job Summary:

Executing sales to drive revenue for GEP through proactive identification, engagement, closure and strategies management of software and solution sales within the Procurement and Supply chain sectors. This will involve prospecting, qualifying, forecasting, selling, client demonstrations, account planning, pipeline management, and reporting.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships with executives and deal teams, as well as associated legal and financial intermediaries to optimize ongoing sales and repeat orders.
  • Manage sales across the assigned market and/or geographic territory to promote enterprise-level agreements.
  • Responsible for showcasing company capabilities to prospective customers.
  • Prepare and execute sales strategies for the qualifying leads.
  • Work with sales management, project management, customer service, and marketing team.

What you should bring

Requirements:

  • Proven success at selling technology and SaaS solutions to Fortune 500 companies with deal sizes ranging from $/£/€100,000 projects to million-dollar/pound/euro annual contracts.
  • An effective and disciplined sales process, with the ability to cultivate relationships at all levels of maturity.
  • Excellent writing and presentation skills, to be able to translate complex concepts into a message that buyers can understand.
  • Creativity in designing solutions to meet the client’s challenges.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience selling to clients in the supply chain and more specifically Procurement.
  • Possession of excellent negotiation skills.
  • Effective team player.
  • Great leadership skills.
