What you will do

The role of the Manager is to apply strategic consulting expertise in the areas of purchasing, supply chain management, business process outsourcing and technology to take GEP to the next level. This manager level consultant will also manage and supervise the delivery of supply chain consulting services and assist in development of new services.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Leading short to long term client project assignments to meet the set goals
  • Developing category & sourcing strategies, manage a team of consultants to execute projects and deliver savings as projected
  • Meeting or exceeding all service level requirements and driving exceptional client satisfaction
  • Supplier negotiations, contracting support, reporting
  • Interacting with senior stakeholders in client organizations
  • Work in cross-regional, cross-functional team environment
  • Coaching & mentoring of team members to help them grow
  • Firm building activities of recruiting, training, digitization, ESG, etc.
  • Participating in business development activities
  • Knowledge & Intellectual Capital building for the firm
  • Travelling to a client´s site as required

What you should bring

  • 5-7 years of business consulting experience in multinational organization
  • Fluency in German or French language
  • Strong procurement, category management experience
  • Experience to other consulting offerings such as supply chain management, procurement transformation, digitization, sustainability, strategic cost management is desired
  • Experience in leading small to mid size projects and client assignments
  • Ability to deliver presentations to senior client stakeholders and influence decision making
  • Ability to develop compelling insights and data-driven recommendations by analyzing large set of data
  • Exceptional analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills
  • Professional fluency in English and German or French language
  • Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, PowerBi
  • BA/BS degree required, masters desired or equivalent work experience
  • Exposure to business development is desired
  • Open to Travelling to client’s site, if required
