What you will do

We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Technical Sales Lead to join our team in the EMEA region. As a Technical Sales Lead, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth by leveraging your technical expertise to understand and address customer needs effectively. You will be responsible for crafting compelling responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), drafting Statements of Work (SOWs), and developing implementation plans to ensure the successful delivery of projects on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will possess a hyper-focus on solving customer problems, exceptional attention to detail, self-management capabilities, and excellent communication skills. This role requires a passion for teamwork coupled with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.

 

Responsibilities:

  1. RFP Responses: Lead the development of comprehensive and tailored responses to RFPs, collaborating with cross-functional teams to showcase GEP's capabilities and solutions.
  2. SOW Drafting: Work closely with sales, consulting, implementation and legal teams to draft clear and concise Statements of Work that outline project scope, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements.
  3. Implementation Planning: Develop implementation plans, outlining key milestones, budgetary considerations and risk mitigation strategies to ensure project success and customer satisfaction.
  4. Customer Problem Solving: Act as a trusted advisor to prospects and customers, understanding their unique challenges and requirements, and proposing innovative solutions that address their specific needs.
  5. Detail Orientation: Ensure accuracy and precision in all deliverables, from RFP responses to project plans, paying meticulous attention to detail at every stage of the sales.
  6. Self-Management: Demonstrate autonomy and initiative in managing workload and priorities, effectively balancing multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  7. Communication Skills: Communicate complex technical concepts and solutions clearly and persuasively, both internally and externally, fostering strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
  8. Team Collaboration: Foster a collaborative and inclusive working environment, leveraging the expertise of cross-functional teams to deliver best-in-class solutions and exceed customer expectations.

What you should bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in technical sales, solution architecture, or consulting roles within the procurement or supply chain domain.
  • Strong understanding of procurement processes, supply chain management principles, and enterprise software solutions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with a passion for problem-solving and continuous improvement.
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in additional languages spoken in the EMEA region is a plus.
