As a Principal Software Engineer, you will be a key technical leader within our organization, driving the architectural vision and leading the development of our most critical projects. You will work closely with senior leadership to define technical strategy and ensure that our solutions are scalable, secure, and future proof. This role requires deep technical expertise, strategic thinking, and the ability to influence and mentor across teams.

• Provide technical leadership and strategic direction for major software projects, ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Architect and design large-scale, distributed systems that are robust, maintainable, and scalable.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, UX/UI, and DevOps, to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Lead the evaluation and adoption of new technologies and frameworks that align with our long-term strategy.
• Mentor and coach senior and junior engineers, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
• Conduct thorough code reviews, providing constructive feedback and ensuring adherence to best practices.
• Drive continuous improvement in development processes, tools, and methodologies.
• Represent the engineering team in high-level meetings, contributing to decision-making and strategic planning.

• Experience: 5+ years of software development experience, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead role.
• Technical Skills:
  • Expertise in multiple programming languages and .NET, TypeScript
  • Deep understanding of software architecture, design principles, and patterns
  • Extensive experience with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure) and microservices architecture
  • Strong knowledge of security best practices and performance optimization
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practises, and automation tools

• Soft Skills:
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent leadership and mentorship capabilities
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Proven ability to influence and drive change across teams and departments
