What you will do

As a Manager in Consulting at GEP, you will apply strategic consulting expertise across purchasing and supply chain to solve complex client challenges—with a deeper focus on logistics procurement (transportation, warehousing, 3PL), supply chain consulting, and network optimization. You will lead delivery teams to measurable results, elevate senior-level stakeholder buy-in, and help grow GEP’s business.

  • Establish supplier performance management (KPIs/QBRs), drive corrective actions, and build risk/continuity plans.
  • Diagnose current network using cost-to-serve, node footprint, flow paths, mode mix, and service analytics (e.g., OTIF, lead time).
  • Build and run network optimization scenarios (adds/closures, mode shifts, nearshoring, final-mile) and recommend the optimal design.
  • Quantify trade-offs and develop executive-ready business cases and implementation roadmaps; secure finance sign-off on benefits.
  • Partner with Ops/IT to translate designs into TMS/WMS/OMS execution and track KPI/benefits realization.
  • Lead cross-functional delivery teams; manage scope, timelines, risks, and change management through adoption.
  • Craft clear, insight-led narratives and present to senior stakeholders; facilitate design sessions and QBRs.
  • Contribute to growth: build practice assets (benchmarks, templates, accelerators), mentor team members, and support business development.
