What you will do

Job Summary

 

Reporting to the VP Alliances, the Director of European Alliances will drive strategic partnerships and alliances to enhance the company's market presence, revenue growth, and help scale in the region of Europe. The focus will be on building, managing, and optimizing relationships with key partners and stakeholders across Europe.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for key strategic alliance partners, nurturing long-term relationships and ensuring mutual success. Support and strengthen relationships with execs, sales, marketing, and operations at key partners.
  • Business Development & Strategy: Create and implement partnership strategies and business development plans to drive growth, including joint business development plans, marketing campaigns, and co-selling initiatives.
  • Performance Tracking: Establish KPIs for partnership success, regularly review progress, and adjust strategies based on feedback and business needs. Leverage CRM and analytics tools for partnership performance metrics.
  • Cross-functional Coordination: Lead sales through partner selection, coordinate with product and engineering teams, and ensure parties are aligned across projects.
  • Market Expansion: Facilitate access to new customer segments and geographies by leveraging established regional and international partnerships.
  • Problem Resolution: Proactively manage and resolve cross-functional and business-critical issues with alliance partners.
  • Certification & Enablement: Work with partners to ensure team members are enabled on key platforms and products to maximise benefits for both parties.

What you should bring

 

  • Proven track record of driving measurable growth in alliance and business development roles, expanding strategic partnerships and channels to deliver revenue growth and increased market adoption.
  • Expertise in partner ecosystems within SaaS, with the ability to design and implement complex partner solutions; prior experience in procurement and supply chain is a strong plus.
  • Relationship builder and influencer, skilled at nurturing internal and external stakeholders, motivating teams, leading by example, and communicating with impact.
  • Collaborative team player with agility, integrity, and a hands-on approach to achieving results.
  • Strong technical and analytical acumen, with the ability to interpret data, generate insights, and drive informed decision-making.
  • Global perspective, with experience in managing cross-border alliances; multilingual capability is a plus.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., alliance management, cloud platforms, PMP) are advantageous.
  • Creative problem-solver, able to think strategically while addressing challenges with innovative solutions.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with advanced presentation and negotiation capabilities.
  • Deep understanding of alliance and channel partner agreements, with experience building high-impact partnerships with leading cloud and SaaS providers.
  • Passionate about collaboration and impact, with a drive to create meaningful business outcomes through strategic partnerships.
  • Fluency in German or French is a strong advantage.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to build and sustain partner relationships across Europe.
