- Supporting category managers with category strategy plans, sourcing execution, supporting category planning and strategic sourcing tasks - Leveraging the GEP network of Category Experts and tools, to deliver insights to any project / client. - Establishing negotiation strategies, identifying and developing negotiation levers, validating them with stakeholders and leading negotiations to ensure savings, timely supply and other benefits for purchases, business analytics, savings reporting and tracking, stakeholder interaction as part of the S2C program - Discussing with vendors and evaluating their products and capabilities as suppliers; - Managing all supplier selection and procurement activities (e.g. RFI, RFP, RFQ, Scorecard and Bid Analysis) - Providing support with respect to Supplier Management/ Procurement processes and policies. - Demonstrating continuous effort to improve operations, manage SOP’s, decrease turnaround times and streamline work processes. - Identifying and communicating with a diverse range of stakeholders, such as suppliers, project sponsors, end-users and other supporting functions such as HR, Legal and Finance. - Participating in firm building activities, including recruitment  

  • Managing the end-to-end procurement process by finding suitable suppliers, executing requests for proposals, and preparing price analyses • Daily communication in English and German • Collecting data, compiling & analyzing the results • Conducting and managing supplier evaluations for our clients • Supporting clients with day-to-day ad-hoc sourcing requests, various cost, change management & supplier performance management • Building and maintaining relationships with both clients and suppliers • Providing guidance and training to more junior colleagues  

- Identify and execute against strategic initiatives to build upon category advisor expertise   - Partner closely with key stakeholder teams to understand critical business needs, trends and strategies  - Manage a team of junior sourcing professionals including category experts and analysts for the day-to-day coaching, training, and ongoing development  - Define and implement global sourcing and outsourcing strategies that consolidate and optimize both the supplier base and services, while securing the lowest Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and access to the highest levels of service and quality  - Leadership role in key procurement activities, including RFx development and execution, Statement of Work (SOW) and contract drafting, and pricing and contract negotiations (new client initiatives).  - Greater participation/involvement in cross functional visionary development and implementation  - Greater responsibility of coaching leadership qualities into subordinates and direct reports, building the future leaders of the organization  - Participating in firm building activities, including recruitment, client visits and wider delivery center improvement activities

- Responsible for operational accuracy of deliverables - Tracks work for team associates and track operational performance on day to day basis - Drives process compliance - Supports on Continuous improvement processes for efficiency - Works in conjunction with the team lead to achieve team goals - Train new team members on client specific processes and ensures training material is up to date - Provide route cause analysis for escalations. - Conduct regular defect analysis for both escalations and internal quality checks - Subject matter expert on client tools and process - Guide / support team in meeting SLAs - Ensure all quality parameters for the for process are meet - Supports team management in reporting - Ensure process documents are updated and accurate
